Please help me raise $$ for Arthritis

Hi my name is Caitlin Knight and I am 11 years old. I have had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was four. When it comes to Arthritis we mostly think of the elderly people. But that is not the case. Over 46 million people have Arthritis. 300,000 of them are children! Arthritis is a devastating, debilitating disease. Other than affecting my joints, arthritis affects my eyes and I could go blind. Although I stay active with School, sports, church, acting, and other arts I still have those hard days. I miss a lot of school because of doctor’s appointments and treatments.
This March I went to the Kid’s Advocacy Summit in Washington D.C. I had the opportunity to talk to our New Jersey Congressman and Senators about the Arthritis Prevention Control and Cure act of 2009.

This year I am on the Arthritis Walk Committee. How can you help?

o Join my team at Challenge Grove Park on May 16 at 10:00am in Cherry Hill.

o Contact your congressmen and ask them to sponsor the A.P.C.C Act of 2009.

o If you are unable to walk with us, there are many volunteer opportunities for the day of the walk. If you are interested please send me an email.

If you are unable to join us at the walk, please consider supporting me with a donation. I am reaching for my goal of $2,000. I know things are tight right now but arthritis hurts everyday no matter what is going on in the economy. Anything you can do will be highly appreciated.
